In our pursuit of purpose and fulfillment, our identity plays a crucial role. Sometimes, our perception of ourselves can be shaped by external factors, experiences, and even the words of others. Judy McDonough, a woman of intelligence and compassion, shares her journey of identity discovery and healing. Growing up, Judy struggled with an inaccurate view of herself, shaped by feelings of neglect and a strong emphasis on her intelligence. Despite her longing to be cherished and valued for more than just her intellect, Judy found herself boxed into a narrow definition of who she was. However, it was through a series of events and encounters with God that Judy began to understand her worth and purpose in His eyes. Surrendering control and allowing God to lead her life became a pivotal moment of transformation. Through prayer, journaling, and seeking God’s guidance, Judy embraced a new perspective on her identity—one rooted in God’s love and acceptance.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
