I have recently been certified as a GiANT Coach, because I wanted a platform that tied together my ministry and business operations all around leadership development. A few months ago, I listened to two podcasts by Jeremie Kubicek and Steve Cockram, who started GiANT, to create a fantastic collaborative platform for coaches and organizations to not only learn, but to put into action NOW. According to Jeremie, who along with Steve are STRONG Christians, “GiANT helps leaders to do humble things in a big way!” GiANT’s initial leadership training is called Sherpa Training. Sherpas are a people group renowned for their climbing skills and superior strength and endurance at high altitudes. Sherpas act as guides, and do everything from carrying the loads to setting up the camps. They guide clients to the top of Everest and other Himalayan peaks and model what it means to be a servant leader.
