If you can choose NOT to be offended, you can create a concrete, practical way to live life with less stress.  This choice forces you to adjust your expectations of others and to judge less and love more, by replacing perpetual anger with humility, grace and gratitude.  If we learn to deal with anger in the way that Jesus taught and modeled we’ll find that we’re living more and more in God’s peace.

Psalm 37:8 (NIV)

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.

So, What… for This Week?

Learn to FORGIVE.  It’s a choice, like NOT being offended!  The way of Christ helps us to forgive, find security and strength in God’s love, be a blessing to others (even those who are difficult), and resolve conflicts.
