Embrace your mistakes as they are the training ground that create powerful change and yield life’s biggest lessons. If we let them, they will point to areas in our lives that need to change and set us on the right path to run hard after God. As I mentioned last week, God also uses mistakes to refine us. When we respond with a right heart, filled with reverence, love, and awe of God, mistakes and problems become character builders. God also uses mistakes to protect us. A problem can either be the catalyst for growth or stunt us.
Genesis 50:20 (NLT)
20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.
So, What… for This Week?
Have you made a mistake that is so big you wonder if you will ever dig your way out? Consider praying this prayer this week (and beyond)… “God, I want to live for your purpose. I don’t always get it right, but God I need your leadership. I need your sovereignty and forgiveness. Please turn my mind toward Your Truth and away from the enemy’s lies as I desire to learn from all my mistakes!” Remember, God is whispering to you right now, as He wants to take your messes and use them for your good. Turn to God and trust in Him!
Thanks for this word.
I needed to read and receive this.
‘God I want to live for your purpose…..
Please turn my mind toward your truth and away from the enemy’s lies as I desire to learn from all my mistakes’.
