As I mentioned last week, there is NO success without failure! When you view success as achievement, you tend to view failure as the opposite. Sadly, we end up fearing failure and do everything you can to avoid it and even cover it up. Remember, defeat and failure are not the same thing. Defeat is an end; failure is a means to a new beginning. I like to think that failure is a pathway to success. Failure helps I mentioned Albert Einstein’s quote from last week, when you look back, you can see how each experience of failure brought you one step closer to realizing God’s will for your life and maybe give you some hope for current future. Though it may seem counterintuitive, the verse below state that through the experience of failure that we come to know Christ in a deeper way!

Philippians 3:10 (NIV)

10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

So, What… for This Week?

It’s time to change your vision of failure and think of “failing forward!”   God has a plan and each failure gets us closer to His purpose for our life.  Learn from your failures and move ahead with NEW knowledge, always learning. As one door closes, another will open and it will be the one God has chosen for you!
