This month, we are delighted to welcome Camillia Dechent from Relevant Finance as she shares a snippet of her inspiring story. Her journey of healing and transformation serves as an encouragement to women seeking hope and restoration. Camillia, a pastor’s kid from Northern Virginia, grew up surrounded by church and faith. However, behind closed doors, she faced significant trauma and the heartbreaking loss of her father to suicide. This tragedy led to a chaotic and tumultuous life filled with emotional pain and destructive choices. Camillia found herself in desperate situations, struggling with anger towards God and a sense of hopelessness. But in her darkest moments, a turning point came. While watching a Christian program one night, Camillia decided to take a leap of faith, uttering the words, “Why not?” This simple prayer marked the beginning of a profound transformation in her life. She had the opportunity to connect with an organization called Mercy Multiplied, where she received the help and healing she desperately needed.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

So, What… for This Week?

If you find yourself in a place of hopelessness or confusion, remember that help is available. Reach out to organizations, counselors, or trusted individuals who can provide guidance and support. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and embark on a journey of healing. Regardless of your past or present circumstances, know that God loves you unconditionally. Allow yourself to understand His true nature and experience His healing power. Open your heart to receive His love and restoration, knowing that He has a purpose for your life. Your story has the power to encourage and inspire others. Consider sharing your experiences of healing and transformation with those around you. By doing so, you can provide hope and support to others who may be going through similar struggles.

The Ignite Purpose community is committed to empowering women like you to discover and fulfill your purpose. Camillia’s story serves as a reminder that no matter how broken or hopeless you may feel, there is always room for healing, restoration, and positive change. Seek help, embrace God’s love, and share your story to impact the lives of others. If you’re inspired by Camillia’s journey, don’t miss the Loudoun Community Breakfast on June 22nd, where she will be speaking. Remember, you are not alone—God is with you, ready to touch your life and make you whole.
