Hey guys, our August theme is building your life around a foundation of prayer.  If you’re seeking to live purposefully and surrendered to God, prayer is the key to do so. Incorporating prayer into your daily routine can bring clarity, peace, and a renewed focus on God’s plan for your life. As men, it’s natural to want to rely on our own abilities and strengths to navigate life’s challenges. However, true surrender to God means acknowledging that our strength is limited and His power is unlimited. When we make prayer a priority, we shift our focus from self-reliance to God-dependence. In prayer, we seek His will and wisdom, aligning our desires with His purpose for our lives.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

So, What… for This Week?

Check out the steps I laid out below. As you prioritize prayer and surrender to God’s plan, trust that He is in control. Embrace the peace that comes from knowing you don’t have to rely solely on your own abilities. Surrender your professional life and family to Him daily, and watch as He leads you on a path of purpose, fulfillment, and abundant blessings.  Remember, prayer is not just a religious practice, but a DEEP connection with Jesus. As you make prayer a foundation for your professional life and family, you open doors to divine wisdom, direction, and strength beyond your own abilities. Guys, I hope this ignite purpose in your lives and families through the power of prayer, so you can learn to live, love and lead like Jesus.
