As I continue to go through the battle of beating anxiety back by losing control and replacing it with faith in God and understanding His love for me and loving Him fully, I’m reading a lot of God’s Word and listening to a lot of sermons on fear, faith and anxiety. Steven Furtick had a GREAT message about fear and worry and stated that, “If you are a good WORRIER, you should be a GREAT WORSHIPPER, because it’s using the same imagination for a different purpose!”
Psalm 34:4-5 (NLT)
4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
So, What… for This Week?
Are you a better worrier than worshipper? Focus this week on taking every thought captive and turning them from fear and worry to worship of the only ONE who is in control…God. He loves you SO much and is waiting for you to turn to Him and leave all your concerns and burdens as His feet!
